Maverick 2: Philip Nitschke

Australian euthanasia activist Dr Philip Nitschke will not be allowed to promote his cause in Singapore, police have decided. Nitschke had planned to give a talk there describing the work of his group, Exit International, on May 13. But police say that it would promote what is a criminal offence in Singapore. Nitschke told the Straits Times that he was "immensely disappointed" with the decision. He said that 28 Singaporeans intended to come to the talk and that some of them had already joined his group. ~ Straits Times, Apr 30
